Independence, IA (September 15, 2023) – The law firm of Roberts & Eddy, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Attorney, Nick A. Sailer, to their firm.

Nick grew up in Manchester, Iowa and graduated from West Delaware High School in 2014. After graduating high school, Nick attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he graduated with a degree in Economics in 2017.

Before deciding to attend law school, Nick worked as a Farm Bureau Financial Services agent. “While working as an agent, I developed meaningful connections with clients and gained firsthand insight into the challenges prevalent in my local community. The communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills I developed while working at Farm Bureau have carried over to my role as an attorney.”

From there, Nick attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines. During his time at Drake, Nick was a student attorney at the Drake Entrepreneurial & Transactional Legal Clinic, where he worked with small business owners to set up LLCs and nonprofit organizations to obtain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. “It was a rewarding experience to learn about these topics in the classroom and apply my knowledge by working with business owners and nonprofit organizations.” Additionally, Nick served as the Production Editor for the Drake Law Review. During his time in Des Moines, Nick also worked at law firms practicing in the areas of business law, real estate, and personal injury.

“I am excited about joining the Roberts & Eddy, P.C. team, where I can further develop my skills as an attorney. I look forward to broadening my knowledge in the many areas of transactional law. During my time in law school, I found these areas of law particularly engaging and understand the importance of proactively addressing issues to prevent litigation,” Nick said.

When not pursuing his legal interests, Nick enjoys weightlifting, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family.
