Independence, IA (January 31, 2019) – The law firm of Roberts & Eddy, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Legal Assistant, Julie Decker, to their legal team.

Decker grew up in Independence, where she graduated from Independence High School in 2012. After graduating high school, Decker attended Hawkeye Community College earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2014. ”Going to Hawkeye better prepared me for the workforce by enhancing my business and technical skill sets,” said Decker.

Decker worked at Community Buick GMC for the past five years handling a wide variety of tasks ranging from title clerk to warranty admin. “I learned a great deal from interacting with customers on a daily basis. Communicating effectively with people has been a learning tool I will continue to use for our law firm’s clients,” said Decker.

Alongside her prior work experiences, Decker’s interests and hobbies consist of enjoying the warm summer months. In her spare time she loves being outdoors, she finds joy in hiking and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
