Independence, IA (July 3, 2019) – The law office of Roberts & Eddy, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Marissa Benischek to our team as a legal assistant.

Benischek is originally from Walker and graduated from Center Point-Urbana High School in 2015. Benischek moved on to study at the University of Northern Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a minor in Communication in May of 2019. She is currently pursuing a paralegal certificate from Kirkwood Community College.

“Studying history has provided me with some serious researching skills,” said Benischek. “The paralegal certificate is more in line with this position, so that has really helped familiarize me with certain areas of law.”

In her spare time, Benischek enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Jordon and their dog Bear. They also spend time cooking, creating new recipes, and watching Planet Earth.
