Independence, IA (January 21, 2022) — The law office of Roberts & Eddy, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Janet Kress to our team as a Staff Accountant.

Kress is from Winthrop, Iowa and attended East Buchanan High School. After graduation, she attended Mount Mercy College, earning her Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration in Accounting.

Janet previously worked as a Staff Accountant for Q3 Innovations, a Finance and Operation Manager for Quest Products, Inc., an Office Manager for Gosling & Company, and a Senior Accountant for Aegon Asset Management. Janet is used to wearing many hats and has done all aspects of Accounting and Human Resources so helping others do the same is natural to her.

“I am excited to work close to home in such a great office environment! I love using my Accounting experience to help our bookkeeping and tax clients,” said Kress. In her spare time, Janet enjoys reading, playing cards and games with family, spoiling her dog, helping with her daughter’s horse, and building their house in the country.
